On Wednesday, March 2, Venture Connectors hosted Marty Meyer and Greg Mosley of Louisville-based El Toro, who shared what it takes to move from a startup to a thriving technology firm serving customers across the globe. They also discussed how El Toro is actively shaping the city’s tech landscape and its plans to expand operations both in Louisville and worldwide.

Founded in 2013, El Toro is one of Louisville’s fastest growing firms in digital marketing. El Toro has invented a unique series of  technologies that allow customers to precisely target their customers online using banner and display ads. Its patent-pending geolocation technology maps physical addresses to IP address with unprecedented accuracy, without using cookies, and while preserving the privacy of the end user. In 2016, El Toro has plans increase its customer base to 20 countries.

Marty Meyer

Meyer is president of political campaigns and corporate outreach for El Toro. He has a strong background in politics, public relations and hospitality. Having grown up in a political family, he spent more than 20 years in the restaurant and hospitality industry while also working in the political realm. He previously served on U.S. Rep. John Yarmuth’s campaign, then as district representative for the congressman's first two terms in office. Meyer worked as legislative aide for Louisville Metro Councilman David Yates prior to joining El Toro.

Greg Mosley

Greg Mosley

As director of sales and training for El Toro, Mosley’s day-to-day responsibilities include on-boarding new resellers of El Toro’s technology, as well as continued training with existing partners. Mosley has worked in sales and sales training for a number of industries including, digital, broadcast, mobile and retail. His extensive marketing and technology knowledge make him an invaluable asset to the El Toro team.
